Brush Stroking
Many people prefer the look of an oil painting over a print with mats and glass. At Portfolio Picture Framers we can make your prints look like oil paintings through the technique of brush stroking. We offer this service at no extra charge and involves painting your print with a special solution. Once dried, your print will look like an original oil painting that does not require glass, simply wipe over with a damp cloth to clean!

Framing and Glass Repairs
Portfolio Picture Framers can repair or re-frame your cherished artwork, no matter how old! Some of the services we provide are:

• Replacement of broken or stained glass including non-reflective and UV glass.
• Re-matting of damaged or dated mounts/mats
• Re-framing of damaged or outdated frames
• Replacement of hangers
• Cleaning and remounting of frames affected by dust, mould or insects etc.

Acrylic and UV Glass
Portfolio Picture Framers offer alternative materials to cover your precious memories and items. We can provide acrylic (or also called Perspex) instead of glass if you are concerned with having glass. We can also provide various grades of UV glass that will stop UV light penetrating your framed item which will stop fading - perfect for limited edition or original artworks, or anything that is highly valuable.
